Reeve" , ruggero Ulivastro , Jove Team First look at RSS 2 for my good buddies who I hope can do a little testing before I stick it out there in the public ... I am releasing version 2.0.0 of the Radio-Sky Spectrograph program today. This is a free program that allows you to view some live spectrograms or to create your own with an SDR-14. If you already have a 1.6 or higher you can use the smaller update installation: http://radiosky.com/spec/SpecUpdate_2_0_0.exe If you have an older version please uninstall it then use the full installation: http://radiosky.com/spec/Spectrograph.exe New to this version: -Servers can select from 100 to 500 channels rather than the old fixed 200 channels. -The number of displayed sweeps can be adjusted up to 1200. -Fine tune your color gain by right clicking on the color gain slider and entering it in a text box. -SDR-14 users can properly display spectra when the SDR-14 is used as an IF for a wide band radio or with any downconverter. The spectrum can be inverted where needed. -Select a default picture format for snapshots; BMP, JPG, and *new* PNG. Look under Options / File Saving. Picture file names now use the time of the start of the chart image instead of the end. (Please note that images saved in BMP and PNG format do not currently have metatdata saved in them. With JPG files you can view the metadata for a RSS captured JPGs using File / View JPG Comment.) - Exporting to CSV files now includes a window of export options for customization. -Several bug fixes.
